car-BIBA appoints Broker Direct motor scheme provider

Submitted by on July 20, 2010 – 12:46 amNo Comment
The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) has appointed Broker Direct as a scheme provider, offering private motor and light commercial vehicle products.

The move means that BIBA members will have access to a variety of motor vehicle products and a guaranteed fast-track agency application process.

They will also benefit from access to BDAssistance, a breakdown product provided by RAC, and the opportunity to use Broker Direct’s accident management services.

Commenting on the partnership, Broker Direct chief executive officer, Terry Stanley, says: “We are delighted to have reached this agreement … it comes at a time when we are also launching new products which we believe brokers will find enormously helpful in the fight against aggregators and direct writers.”
