Submitted by on January 28, 2012 – 8:10 amNo Comment

The Ford Focus has long been a pillar in the fleet of cars that Ford has produced, the Focus is both reliable and priced within a decent range to allow for a lot of people to not only want to, but to be able to get their hands on one. These new additions to the 2012 Ford focus fleet will be no exception to that rule as they come with a powerful yet economic engine across the range, along with several other unique and desirable additions across the board.

Ford Focus 2012 has a new 2.0L inline 4-cylinder engine that puts out 160horsepower and 146pound-feet of torque.Entry-level S and SE models get a 5-speed manual transmission standard, while a 6-speed automatic transmission that Ford has dubbed “Powershift”(technically, it//’s a dual-clutch automated manual)is standard on SEL and Titanium trim levels. It is optional on the S and SE.

The lower end of the range for the new 2012 Ford Focus will be able to get around about 26mpg in the city and up to 36mpg on the highway while all of the higher end Ford Focus 2012’s will be able to reach a slightly higher 27-28mpg in the city and around 37 or 38mpg on the highw
